About the Chabala's

This is our family at an 8k on Thanksgiving day. From left to right my youngest daughter Mackenzie, then Paige, then Abigail who is holding our sweet dog Maggie, and my oldest daughter Caitlin. I am Elizabeth in the back with my husband Rick.

I have been blessed to be a stay at home mom to my girls. They are my life! And yes, they are LOUD and drive me crazy at times but I love them!! We are an active family. I love exercising and I am constantly hoping to challenge my family to do the same. My girls like to play basketball and Rick likes being able to coach them. We also go to Zumba several times a week which we love!!! We have a blast together and it helps us stay in shape. I also enjoy running and my girls join me occasionally with that.

I am so excited about the opportunity to go on a missions trip to Romania with my oldest daughter, Caitlin who is 12. She has an great personality and a big heart to serve God. I know this will be an amazing, life-changing adventure for us both.

This is a photo of Abigail, who is 10, and myself getting ready to run a 5k last November. I challenged her to complete the race with me and she did not let me down. She even placed 3rd in her age division. I am very proud of her. She went to New Mexico last summer with Rick and Caitlin on a missions trip and she can't wait until she is a little bit older to go on one outside of the country. She will be helping out with her younger sisters while I am gone...I hope!

This is a photo of Paige, age 8, and Mackenzie, age 6, at their basketball game in November. They had a blast playing with their dad! Paige is such a loving child and Mackenzie is full of spunk! I will really miss them while I am gone and can't wait until they are big enough to go with me on a trip of their own.

This is a photo of my husband Rick and I after taking a "Walk Through Bethlehem" this past December. He is a loan officer at Cunningham and Company Mortgage Bankers. I don't know of anyone who works harder than he does to provide for our family so I could stay home to raise our girls. I am excited that he is stepping up to take care of the girls so I can have the opportunity to go to Romania and share Christ's love.

I am so grateful for all the blessings God has given me and for each moment with my family. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about our family and supporting us on this adventure.

I am excited as we each take on the challenge each week to "walk" to Romania. Check back in to see our progress. God bless you.
